THE MUSIC

THE BAND MEMBERS

Robb Ramos – Guitars

Robb started playing shows in his mid to late teens whenever opportunities arose and where his age wasn’t questioned or checked.  His musical journey quickly transitioned into popular “Hair” bands for the next several year playing just about every club in the Islands and opening for many popular touring bands. His early musical influences include Roy Buchanan, Peter Frampton, Frank Marino and Gary Moore as well as the progressive rock bands of the time. Being self-taught, Robb decided to grow his musical knowledge by attending and graduating from Musician’s Institute.  Additional heavy influences were Pat Metheny and Robben Ford—with Robben Ford being the most influential in his style.

PHIL – Drums

The strong family interest in music helped in encouraging Phil’s early involvement by beginning the study of drums and piano at the age of eight.  By age twelve, Phil was performing in rock, concert and marching bands, in addition to studying with longtime Big Band leader Louis Bellson protégé Gaeton Caviola.  After attending music colleges in both the Miami and Boston areas and performing extensively throughout the north and south, Phil joined guitarist brother Pete on a journey westward to California.

The move to the West Coast has kept Phil very busy both recording and performing in a variety of situations and places from the Las Vegas showrooms to some of L.A..’s premier clubs and studios including performances with such notable artists as David Benoit, long time James Taylor vocalist Arnold McCuller, Larry Carlton, Jon Anderson of Yes, Tom Scott and many others. Phil Is very excited to be a part of the new T. O. Project.

DAN – Bass

Dan grew up in the San Fernando Valley and from his earliest years, music was an important part of his life. At age 11 he started his musical journey learning how to play the drums. At age 13 he moved on to guitar and bass. He worked with several talented musicians and bands and performed all around the San Fernando Valley and L.A. areas.

At age 18, he joined a group called “The Tall Tree O”. They performed all of the popular cover music of the time playing up and down the California coast. They later got a steady gig as the house band at Magic Mountain and performed there for several years. He loves singing, playing bass, guitar, keyboard and drums at his home studio. Dan recently joined The T.O Project and is having a great time working with the talented members of this great band.

LEE – Keys

Philadelphia-born and raised in Southern New Jersey, Lee has been obsessed with music from a very young age. A self-taught musician, Lee has studied piano, songwriting, theory, and vocals with a personal passion for storytelling, emotion, and powerful tunes. His influences range from classic blues to rock and pop. Lee’s voice is a raw, powerful, and soulful mix of the Philly soul, rock, and blue-eyed soul sounds he grew up with. He is the newest member of the T.O Project and is excited to have been invited to be part of this talented group of dedicated musicians.
